Hey Busty Beach Babes! Tips For Buying DD Swimsuits

It's summer time and the living's easy... unless you have to go swimsuit shopping! Many women dread the thought of squeezing themselves into swimsuit after swimsuit in the hopes of the perfect fit. If you have large breasts, buying a bathing suit can be a daunting task.

DD Swimsuit styles: Do's and Don'ts

Don't waste time trying on swimsuits that won't suit your figure! Here are some guidelines for picking bathing suits that look great on well-endowed women.

DO try an underwired bathing suit top. Just a few years ago, it was hard to find an underwired swimsuit that didn't look like a bra. Now, many brands make DD swimsuits that look like, well, swimsuits! In addition to underwire bikinis, many one piece swimsuits have a "floating" underwire. This type of underwire cannot be seen on the outside of the swimsuit, so you'll get the support without unsightly lines.

DO balance your figure. Boyshort bottoms are a great choice for women with large breasts. This modern style has more coverage and will help visually balance the effect of a large chest. Another great option is a skirted swimsuit. An a-line skirt helps balance your body type.

DO trick the eye with color. We all know that dark colors are slimming. Try wearing a solid color top with a matching print on the bottom, or a one piece swimsuit that is darker on the top.

DON'T wear a bikini top that is too loose around. It can be tempting to wear any top that covers your whole chest. However, if the top is not tight around your back, there's nothing to support your breasts. This will put weight on your shoulders, or in the case of a halter bikini, on your neck. Ouch!

DON'T be afraid of a plunge. Swim season can be the perfect time to tastefully showcase your cleavage. High necklines may even make your chest look larger (turtlenecks, anyone?). If you do wear a low-cut top, make sure it is still the correct size. Busting out of a bikini made for an A cup is not sexy!

DON'T wear a baggy tankini. Tankini tops are a fantastic solution when you want a youthful look without baring it all. Just make sure your tankini top is fitted at the waist. A tankini that is not designed for DD cups can hang too loose on your torso and make you look heavier.

Shopping for DD Swimsuits online

Buying a bathing suit online has both pros and cons. One upside of shopping for swimsuits online is that specialty e-tailers carry many more sizes than the local mall. If you are going on vacation in the winter, online stores will have a much larger selection. If you are easily embarrassed when shopping for bathing suits, trying on swimsuits in the privacy of your home may also be appealing.

The one downside of shopping for swimsuits online is that you can't try before you buy. For a hard-to-fit busty woman this may seem like a dealbreaker. What's the solution to this problem? Try cup-sized swimwear. Bra sized swimwear is designed to fit larger breasts. By buying a swimsuit that is designed for DD cups, you've taken care of the hardest fitting problem.
